Antique lye

Antique Oak Lye produces a unique antique smoked oak look on wood. The product reacts with the tannic acid in the oak making the wood darker. The look depends on the amount of tannic acid in the oak. The lye is often used to create a unique colour and vintage patina appearance that is achieved after 1-2 months.
